Japanese Tweedia 'Pure Blue'

Japanese Tweedia 'Pure Blue'

$9.50

(Tweedia sp) 4 inch pot

omg, don’t pass this up! Tweedia ‘Pure Blue’ is a fabulous new Japanese Tweedia available to us this year! (and desperately needs some new glamor shots, these photos are from the breeder). It has the purest blue color, and a rounder, more desirable flower shape. Said to resemble the flower shape of Cynoglossum, which we also love. It will be our first year growing, so grow with us!

PLANT TYPE:
Hardy Annual
VASE LIFE:
5-7 days
HARVEST:
Tweedia is in the milkweed family and will emit a milky sap when cut. We suggest you harvest in the coolest part of the day and let your cut stems hydrate in the cooler overnight before you need them. If you are having a hard time with wilting stems, a heat treatment to the cut end of the stem will often seal off the sap and help with hydration.
SOIL REQUIREMENTS:
Rich, deep, loamy, moist, well-drained soil.
