Bearded Iris 'Idle Rich'

$20.00

(Iris x germanica) 1 gallon pot

Bearded Irises certainly had its moment for us in 2024! We have bought many more this year and had a surplus of bulbs. Our dilemma, your treasure!

Idle Rich is a gorgeous dusky gold with dark, dramatic violet centers and popping orange beards. Wonderfully broad and ruffles from heaven. This is our first year growing and we are very excited to see her bloom!

Growing Bearded Iris isn’t too tricky but there is a few things you’ll want to do to get the most out of yours. We plant ours with the tuber slightly exposed and divide pretty religiously every 3 years. If you plant yours too deep it won’t bloom. They really don’t mind being dug up and replanted, so if you currently have some being stingy, try to lift the tuber and expose it closer to the surface.
